Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) – Full-Time & Per Diem (PRN)

Fort Myers Rehab & Nursing Center provides exceptional in-house sub-acute rehabilitation and skilled nursing care. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. We are currently hiring for Full-Time and Per Diem (PRN) positions.

• Provide occupational therapy treatments to residents under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

• Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans to improve residents’ ability to perform daily living activities.

• Support patients in developing skills for independence, safety, and functional mobility.

• Monitor patient progress and report updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support comprehensive patient care.

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.

• Current Florida Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license.

• Experience in a rehabilitation or skilled nursing facility preferred.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
