Space Coast Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a motivated professional who is passionate about helping residents improve their quality of life through personalized care, rehabilitation, and support.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

• Provide hands-on therapy services designed to improve mobility, coordination, and daily functional abilities.

• Assist residents in developing skills needed to maximize independence and quality of life.

• Monitor resident progress and communicate updates with the therapy and care teams.

• Maintain accurate documentation while following all regulatory and compliance standards.

• Protect resident privacy and confidentiality in accordance with healthcare regulations.

• Work collaboratively with nursing, rehabilitation, and interdisciplinary team members to support positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current and active Florida Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license required.

• Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation preferred.

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
