Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid CA license or eligibility to obtain (CFY considered)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but not required
  • Experience in pediatric or school-based settings highly desired
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
  • Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic educational environments

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to a diverse caseload of K-12 students
  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other service providers
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success plans
  • Consult and provide support strategies to staff and families
  • Stay current with best practices and comply with all state, federal, and district guidelines
