This role is ideal for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist passionate about making an impact through direct therapy, assessments, and collaboration within the school setting.

In this position, you'll work full time (36.5 hours per week) at a single school site, managing a caseload of approximately 45 elementary students. Expect your days to include conducting evaluations, delivering both direct and indirect therapy, participating in IEP meetings, and staying connected with teachers and families to maximize each student’s success. Previous experience in school-based SLP settings is highly valued.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California SLP License (required)
  • School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
  • Expertise in conducting assessments, evaluations, and writing IEPs
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Ability to engage elementary-age students in therapy
  • Adaptable and collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to a diverse elementary student population
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collect data and document student progress in accordance with IEP goals
  • Participate in team meetings and maintain open communication with staff and families
  • Complete necessary paperwork and compliance documentation efficiently
