Step into a dynamic role supporting preschoolers as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant during the upcoming school year. This contract position is designed for those passionate about making an impact in early childhood education and communication development, located onsite in a vibrant school environment nestled near the Hayward and Sunnyvale area.

As a valued member of the multidisciplinary school team, you'll provide direct support to students with speech, language, and communication challenges, focusing on evaluation, assessment, treatment, and consultation. Your contributions will help young learners build foundational communication skills and ensure that families and educational staff receive the support and resources they need.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active California SLPA License required
  • Experience with pediatric populations, particularly preschool age, is highly beneficial
  • Familiarity with school-based therapy models and collaboration with educational teams
  • Proficiency in teletherapy and healthcare settings is desirable
  • Bilingual Spanish proficiency is preferred but not mandatory
  • Comfort in providing evaluation, documentation, and ongoing support to students and families

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality speech and language interventions to preschool students
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and interpret results for individualized education planning
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and communication with stakeholders
