Accounts Payable

The Accounts Payable assistant plays a vital role within a small team, directly reporting to the Accounting Manager. This position is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments, accurate filing, and managing vendor relationships. The role operates during standard business hours in our Brea office, contributing to smooth financial operations through effective data entry and payment management.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices and ensure timely payment to vendors
• Manage vendor relationships and resolve discrepancies
• Enter and maintain accurate financial data in our Appfolio accounting system
• Coordinate payment processing according to company policies

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in accounts payable
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with accounting software, preferable Appfolio
• Excellent communication skills
• Microsoft Excel skills
• Skilled in data entry
