Two full-time contract opportunities are available for passionate professionals who thrive in fast-paced, onsite roles supporting students and collaborating with school teams. Both positions require on-site presence and active Connecticut licensure (including CT DPH and CT [071]). Share your licensure and certification details upfront for consideration.

Available Roles:

  • High School Caseload:

    • Location: New Britain
    • Dates: August 31, 2026 – October 9, 2026
    • Setting: High school, 35 hours/week, Monday to Friday
  • Elementary Caseload:

    • Location: New Britain
    • Dates: August 31, 2026 – September 30, 2026
    • Setting: Elementary school, 35 hours/week, Monday to Friday
    • Potential for contract extension

Core Qualifications:

  • Valid active CT DPH and CT (071) social worker licenses
  • Proven experience in school-based social work; comfortable with high school or elementary populations
  • Skilled in conducting student evaluations
  • Adaptability to short-term, leave-of-absence assignments
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
  • Comfortable working entirely onsite; virtual not available

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive student evaluations to support IEP development and interventions
  • Work collaboratively with educational teams to address student needs and advocate for supports
  • Maintain clear, timely documentation and compliance with school and state requirements
  • Engage with students and families to foster a positive school environment
