Based near the vibrant Houston, TX area, this position involves overseeing three school campuses, focusing solely on conducting assessments—as counseling is handled by campus counselors. This opportunity allows you to make a direct impact on young learners, facilitating their educational journeys through comprehensive psychological assessment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Must hold an active School Psychologist license valid in Texas
  • Prior experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Expertise conducting and interpreting assessments for elementary-age students
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills for working with teachers, families, and school teams
  • Ability to manage multiple campuses and balance caseload effectively
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with relevant digital documentation and assessment tools
  • Professional references must be available prior to presentation

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary assessor for students across three elementary campuses
  • Complete timely and comprehensive psychoeducational assessments according to district and state guidelines
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and administrators to support student success
  • Participate in student evaluation meetings and contribute expertise to inform educational planning
  • Maintain clear, thorough records in accordance with school and legal policies
  • Designate one virtual workday per week (choose Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday) for added flexibility, maintaining consistency unless communicated otherwise
