Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract role is located near the beautiful Ocean City, MD area, working in-person with elementary students from PreK3 to 3rd grade. You'll be part of a school environment, providing vital services to a caseload of approximately 60 students with mild to moderate disabilities. Your regular schedule will follow a consistent Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Prior experience in a school setting (elementary preferred)
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing and implementing IEPs, and collaborating with educational staff
  • Ability to clearly communicate goals and progress to students, staff, and families
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Commitment to in-person service delivery

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students in small groups or one-on-one sessions
  • Conduct screenings and diagnostic evaluations for assigned caseload
  • Develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapeutic interventions tailored to student needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and related records
  • Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to foster student growth
  • Participate in pertinent meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
