Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in Indiana
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings
- Strong understanding of common speech/language disorders in school-aged children
- Ability to create engaging, individualized therapy plans
- Comfortable collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor personalized intervention plans
- Provide direct therapy services for students across all grade levels
- Document progress and adjust treatment goals as needed
- Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families
- Contribute to IEP meetings, ensuring compliance with school and district policies
- Provide guidance and resources to school staff regarding students’ speech/language needs
