School Occupational Therapist - Oakland, California

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to work part-time (four days per week) during the 2026-2027 school year, making a direct impact on the educational experience of children. This position will be split between two districts, providing variety in your workweek as you collaborate closely with diverse school teams.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active Occupational Therapist license required
• Previous experience as a school-based OT—pediatric (Peds) experience strongly preferred
• Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and school environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong commitment to supporting student growth and independence

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted occupational therapy services to students in both districts
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
• Support students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional skills for school success
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation per district and state requirements
• Contribute to IEP meetings as a valued member of the multidisciplinary team

This part-time role is scheduled from August 17th, 2026 to June 11th, 2027, offering consistent hours across four days each week. You’ll have the chance to expand your experience by working with different schools, students, and support teams throughout the year.
