Step into a rewarding school-based opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Houston area, serving vibrant middle and high school students. This full-time, contract role is perfect for professionals passionate about supporting secondary-age learners (grades 6-8, 10-12). Assignments are made with your preferred age group and ZIP code in mind, providing a tailored experience within a supportive community.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and active Texas SLP license and Florida SLP license required
  • Experience in school-based settings, ideally with secondary student populations
  • Comfortable with a caseload of 50–60 students, delivering therapy and managing documentation
  • Ability to perform the full spectrum of SLP duties, including therapy, ARDs, and testing; supervision-only roles also available if preferred
  • Prepared to complete district fingerprinting (prior prints may be acceptable)
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability within a dynamic school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services to middle or high school students, with caseload assigned based on your preference
  • Conduct assessments, participate in ARDs, and implement IEPs and intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster student progress and communication success
  • Option to focus on supervision duties for those with SLP supervisory experience
  • Maintain accurate, timely records in alignment with district policies
