Qualifications & Expertise:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Texas SLP license (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Previous experience working in a school setting strongly valued
- Comfort working with both monolingual and bilingual students
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Enthusiastic about multidisciplinary collaboration and culturally responsive practice
Role Highlights & Responsibilities:
- Manage diverse caseloads (primarily elementary, some middle school)
- Conduct comprehensive speech/language evaluations
- Develop, implement, and track IEPs and progress
- Deliver case management and consultation, coordinating with families and educational staff
- Provide direct therapy as needed
- Maintain timely, accurate records and data for compliance
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
