Job Description
Make an immediate impact as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist serving elementary students in a dynamic Texas school setting. This full-time opportunity is ideal for dedicated SLP-CCC professionals with a passion for working in early childhood environments and supporting students’ communication and language development. Leverage your clinical expertise while collaborating closely with fellow educators on-site—no remote or virtual work for this assignment. Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Texas State Speech-Language Pathologist licensure (submit license number and proof of licensure with application)
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC)
- Minimum of one year of recent experience providing speech services in a school setting
- Background in early childhood education settings strongly preferred
- Self-contained classroom experience highly desirable
- No educator credential required
- Absolutely no Clinical Fellows (CFs) or Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) considered
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site, evidence-based speech and language therapy to elementary students
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to integrate therapy into academic routines
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Deliver services primarily at elementary campuses, potentially in self-contained settings
