School Physical Therapist | Orange, New Jersey

Step into an engaging contract opportunity serving K-12 students in a vibrant district-wide setting near Orange, NJ. This full-time physical therapy position spans the 2026-2027 academic year, with a schedule of 8:30AM-3:15PM, Monday through Friday (35 hours per week). You'll work across multiple schools, providing support to a diverse group of students and collaborating closely with educational teams to foster student growth and development.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid Physical Therapy license in New Jersey
• Experience working in school-based settings, preferably K-12
• Ability to complete or obtain all NJ pre-employment requirements, including TB test, physical examination, and fingerprinting for both the staffing agency and the school district
• Willingness to participate in a Zoom interview prior to placement
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Adaptability to work effectively across various schools and grade levels

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative PT services to students as outlined in IEPs
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized interventions that promote motor skills, mobility, and student participation
• Monitor and document student progress, preparing reports for IEP meetings and parent communications
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and other related service providers, to support holistic student development
• Travel between multiple schools within the district as needed
