Your skills will support a welcoming and collaborative environment where each student has the opportunity to succeed. You’ll be instrumental in evaluating student needs, recommending targeted interventions, and promoting a positive educational landscape.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current School Psychologist licensure in the state of Michigan is required
• Previous experience in a K-12 school setting preferred but not required
• Strong ability to conduct student assessments, develop individualized education and behavior plans, and interpret assessment results
• Familiarity with special education processes, policies, and compliance standards
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Complete psychoeducational assessments and interpret findings to guide educational planning
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop appropriate interventions
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and assist with IEP development
• Lead and support crisis intervention efforts as needed
• Offer counseling, consultation, and behavioral support to students
• Collect and maintain thorough documentation in line with state and district guidelines
