Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary students and staff as a School Psychologist through this rewarding part-time, contract opportunity. This role offers the chance to work in two welcoming elementary school environments, providing expert guidance and assessments that help shape positive educational experiences for young learners.

Your expertise will be called upon for comprehensive special education assessments, working closely with both schools to support individualized student needs. This is an ideal position for professionals seeking part-time flexibility with a focus on special education assessment.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Valid state license or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Prior experience in a K-12 school setting, preferably elementary
  • Strong skills in special education assessment, report writing, and IEP participation
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school personnel
  • Familiarity with a broad range of assessment tools and intervention strategies
  • Commitment to ethical practices and confidentiality in all student interactions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct educational and psychological evaluations for special education eligibility
  • Provide detailed assessment reports to assist in the development of effective IEPs
  • Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Support positive learning and behavioral environments through targeted interventions and recommendations
  • Adhere to relevant federal and state regulations and district policies
