Embark on a rewarding school psychologist opportunity supporting middle school students in grades 6–8. This full-time contract position extends through the entire school year and offers the chance to make a real difference in students' educational and emotional development.

As a key advocate within the school team, you'll manage a caseload focused primarily on re-evaluations, with 35–70 students. Your expertise will help identify student needs, provide data-driven recommendations, and collaborate closely with educators and families. You'll enjoy an engaging, dynamic environment that values your input and supports your professional growth.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist (eligible in Illinois)
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred, especially with middle school populations
  • Knowledge of social, behavioral, and cognitive assessments
  • Strong communication, report writing, and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with IEP process and special education best practices

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational re-evaluations for students in grades 6–8
  • Interpret assessment results and develop clear, actionable reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations with teams
  • Support intervention planning and progress monitoring
  • Serve as a resource for teachers, families, and administrators regarding student needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to district policies and timelines
