Make a meaningful difference in students’ lives by providing speech and language services in a dynamic high school setting near Cambridge, MA. This full-time contract opportunity focuses on a language-based program, supporting a diverse caseload of high school students. As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCCs, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated team of educators and specialists to foster students’ communication skills and promote their academic success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience working with high school or pediatric populations in a school-based setting
  • Strong knowledge of language-based disorders and effective intervention strategies
  • Ability to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Massachusetts SLP license (or eligibility)

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and direct therapy for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Create individualized intervention plans within a language-based program, addressing students’ unique needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families regarding student progress and best practices
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation, including IEP paperwork and progress updates
  • Attend relevant meetings and participate as a valued member of the student support team
  • Stay current with best practices and professional standards in school-based speech-language pathology
