Essential Qualifications:

  • Hold an active Florida SLP license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or eligibility considered
  • Experience in educational settings or strong interest in school-based speech therapy
  • Skills in assessment, development, and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Comfort working with diverse student populations spanning Kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities with teachers, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations for students K-12
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address identified needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Provide direct therapy, consultation, and support to students and educators
  • Maintain accurate records and timely documentation according to school and legal standards
