Essential Qualifications:
- Hold an active Florida SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or eligibility considered
- Experience in educational settings or strong interest in school-based speech therapy
- Skills in assessment, development, and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Comfort working with diverse student populations spanning Kindergarten through 12th grade
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities with teachers, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations for students K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address identified needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Provide direct therapy, consultation, and support to students and educators
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation according to school and legal standards
