Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced pharmacist with skills in long-term care and mail order pharmacy services. The role involves working in a busy long-term care and mail order environment, utilizing the Frameworks system for order entry. The position offers a unique 7 on, 7 off shift schedule, providing work-life balance while supporting critical pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage prescription processing and medication dispensing in a long-term care and mail order setting
  • Utilize Frameworks software for accurate order entry and pharmacy operations
  • Ensure compliance with state pharmacy regulations and safety protocols
  • Provide expert medication consultations and support to healthcare teams and patients
  • Maintain thorough documentation and accountability for all medications dispensed

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Massachusetts pharmacy license required
  • Experience in long-term care pharmacy preferred
  • Mail order pharmacy experience is advantageous
  • Familiarity with Frameworks pharmacy system is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
  • Ability to work independently on a night shift schedule

Schedule and Location:

  • Work schedule is Wednesday through Tuesday, 7 days on followed by 7 days off
  • Night shift hours from 8:30 pm to 5:00 am
  • Position is located in Worcester, Massachusetts

This is a contract-to-hire role with a 13-week duration and the potential for direct hire based on performance and mutual fit.
