Long Term Care Mail Order Staff Pharmacist - Hamilton, OH

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A pharmacist role is available within a Long Term Care (LTC) and Mail Order pharmacy environment located in Hamilton, OH. This position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity with a 13-week initial assignment, providing a pathway to direct hire. The role features consistent weekday shifts with rotating weekend responsibilities.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:45 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:45 PM
• Rotating every third weekend

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately within the LTC and Mail Order pharmacy settings
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication regimens
• Maintain thorough documentation and handle prescription orders efficiently
• Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and staff

Qualifications:

• Active Ohio pharmacy license is required
• Experience in Long Term Care pharmacy strongly preferred
• Retail pharmacy experience will also be considered
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
