Qualifications & Experience

  • Valid Occupational Therapist licensure for New York
  • Experience with school-based OT services strongly preferred
  • Skill in working with MTSS frameworks and general education populations
  • Able to collaborate effectively with PTs and other education professionals
  • Commitment to full-time hours (37.5/week, 8:00 am-3:00 pm)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver 8 therapeutic sessions per day, supporting both MTSS and general education students
  • Share therapy space and collaborate with a Physical Therapist for integrated care
  • Participate in district meeting day (starting September 2nd) and regular school operations through June 24th
  • Maintain clear, thorough documentation and contribute to student progress monitoring
  • Bill for services, including on snow days, ensuring consistent care and compliance
