Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current or pending state licensure in Virginia (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience with pediatric school populations preferred
  • Strong communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students in a school setting
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, school staff, and families
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, progress notes, and reports
