Step into a rewarding contract role delivering impactful speech and language services within a dynamic high school setting. This position centers on supporting students in a language-based program, fostering their academic and personal success through your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

You’ll work closely with an energetic team, tailoring interventions and communication strategies that empower students in grades 9-12. This role is specifically designed for a speech-language professional holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who is passionate about working in an educational environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active CCC from ASHA required
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience with pediatric populations, ideally within a school setting
  • Strong understanding of language-based learning programs
  • Ability to work with diverse high school caseloads
  • Solid communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Position Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy services in alignment with IEP goals
  • Conduct evaluations and ongoing assessments for student progress
  • Collaborate with special education and general education staff to develop and implement language-embedded strategies within the curriculum
  • Document session notes, progress reports, and contribute to eligibility and planning meetings
  • Provide training and resources to staff and families as needed
  • Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
