Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active state SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Previous experience in school settings and with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students with diverse needs, from evaluation and diagnosis to individualized intervention and progress monitoring
- Develop and implement IEP goals based on assessments, observations, and collaboration with other professionals
- Maintain accurate, timely records of student progress and communicate regularly with families and team members
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to overall student support strategies
- Provide consultation and training to teachers and staff on best practices in speech-language strategies within the classroom
