Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students and educators as an Occupational Therapist for a temporary, part-time role near North Hollywood, CA. This assignment is designed to cover a medical leave, lasting approximately 6–8 weeks, with the potential to extend through October 31st. Ideal for an OT who thrives on variety, collaboration, and helping learners achieve their fullest potential in both onsite and virtual environments. Work just two days per week, fitting rewarding service into your schedule.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Current, valid Occupational Therapist licensure in California
  • Experience with school-aged children in educational or therapeutic settings
  • Familiarity with OT services across environments (schools, home health, healthcare, teletherapy)
  • Comfort with teletherapy platforms and adapting interventions for virtual delivery
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new routines and pick up where coverage is needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy assessments and intervention in accordance with students’ IEPs and district guidelines
  • Provide individualized and group therapy services, both on-site and via teletherapy as directed
  • Document session notes and progress toward student goals in a timely and organized manner
  • Coordinate with educators, caregivers, and specialty staff to integrate therapy into students’ learning and daily activities
  • Attend meetings, provide consultative support, and contribute to IEP development as needed
  • Support transition of services for smooth continuity before and after the leave period
