This full-time contract opportunity is designed for either an SLP or an SLPA eager to make a positive impact in a school-based setting. The assignment runs through the end of February, with the possibility of extension, and focuses on delivering high-quality speech-language services to diverse students.

In this dynamic position, you’ll spend the majority of your time with Pre-K students, utilizing your pediatric expertise and passion for early intervention. The remaining responsibilities involve district-wide support, such as supervising SLPAs or providing assistance at other school sites—offering a great mix of direct therapy and collaboration with colleagues. School hours run from 7:15 to 3:45, but flexibility is available if you require scheduling adjustments for family commitments, such as child drop-off.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA credentials required
  • School and pediatric experience strongly preferred
  • Previous exposure to Pre-K populations and/or supervisory experience beneficial
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills
  • Positive, collaborative mindset and willingness to work across sites

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy for Pre-K students
  • Conduct evaluations, maintain documentation, and consult with multidisciplinary teams
  • Supervise or support SLPAs and contribute where needed on a district level
  • Participate in IEP meetings and help shape students’ educational plans
  • Foster supportive relationships with students, families, and fellow staff

As part of this role, you’ll have access to comprehensive healthcare benefits, a generous matching 401k program, and the support of a forward-thinking school environment.

If you’re committed to helping children thrive through enhanced communication and want to enjoy a blend of hands-on therapy and supervision—while benefiting from schedule flexibility—submit your application today to inspire young learners and support fellow professionals!
