Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Bethlehem, Pennsylvania

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Previous experience within a pediatric or school-based environment is highly valued
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, targeting articulation, language, fluency, and social communication skills
• Conduct thorough evaluations and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to promote students’ communication growth in the classroom and beyond
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required compliance documentation
• Offer support and guidance to educators on strategies for classroom communication
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide informative input on student progress
