Make an impact this school year by supporting students with speech and language needs as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP, CCC) working in a contract role. This position offers an engaging mix of responsibilities and opportunities to collaborate with colleagues in a supportive educational environment.

You will provide assessment, intervention, and consultative services to a caseload of approximately 45 students. While your primary focus will be on learners in Lonsdale, there may be occasional support needs in Montgomery. The role covers around 40 hours per week across 175 school days, giving you the opportunity to form meaningful connections with students as they progress through the school year.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly with students, families, and staff

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized speech-language goals for students
  • Deliver direct and indirect therapy services according to IEPs
  • Monitor, document, and report student progress
  • Work collaboratively with special education teams, teachers, and families
  • Travel to multiple school sites as needed

Contract Details & Schedule:

  • 40 hours per week, approximately 175 working days
  • Workshop week begins August 31, with students starting September 10
  • Predominantly based in Lonsdale, with possible coverage in Montgomery
