An interim leadership opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Operations Manager to oversee pharmacy services at a 250-bed hospital in Northern California. This contract role requires a proactive, results-driven professional ready to start ASAP and manage pharmacy operations efficiently over a 3 to 6-month assignment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading daily pharmacy operations to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital standards.
  • Managing pharmacy staff, fostering a collaborative environment, and promoting professional development.
  • Overseeing medication dispensing processes to guarantee accuracy and patient safety.
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy management.
  • Implementing operational improvements that enhance service delivery and workflow efficiency.
  • Ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines and resource allocation.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Proven leadership experience as a Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacy Operations Manager, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a multidisciplinary pharmacy team.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Location: Northern California, within a 250-bed hospital facility.
