Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A leadership role in pharmacy operations is available for a Pharmacy Operations Manager in Tulsa, OK, focused on supporting clinical and inpatient pharmacy services within a prominent healthcare setting. This position offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to patient care through effective management and mentorship of pharmacy staff in a well-equipped, technology-driven environment.

Schedule:

  • Full-time day shift, 8 hours per day

Location:

  • Tulsa, Oklahoma (relocation assistance may be available)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the pharmacy department, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to policies
  • Provide pharmaceutical care as a staff pharmacist when necessary
  • Manage inventory and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
  • Develop and update pharmacy policies and procedures
  • Support, mentor, and supervise clinical pharmacists and pharmacy personnel
  • Act as acting manager in the absence of the Pharmacy Director

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited institution
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in hospital pharmacy, including leadership roles
  • Active pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy
  • Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 14 days of hire
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Records systemsPreferred Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree
  • At least 1 year experience as a pharmacy operations specialist or pharmacy management in a hospital setting
  • Advanced certifications such as ALS/ACLS
