Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Pharmacy Operations Manager position is available in Tulsa, OK, focusing on day shift work (8 hours per day). This role blends leadership with hands-on pharmaceutical care in a large hospital setting equipped with advanced technology and specialized centers.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily pharmacy department operations, ensuring efficient workflow and compliance.
  • Provide pharmaceutical care as a staff pharmacist when needed.
  • Manage inventory, staff, and develop policies and procedures within the pharmacy.
  • Support, mentor, and supervise clinical pharmacists and pharmacy personnel.
  • Assist in managing the pharmacy during the Pharmacy Director’s absence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE-accredited institution.
  • Minimum 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience, including leadership roles.
  • Active pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Compliance with applicable state requirements, such as sterile compounding.
  • BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire/transfer and before providing direct patient care.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited college.
  • At least 1 year as a pharmacy operations specialist.
  • Experience in hospital pharmacy management.
  • ALS/ACLS certification.
