Make an impact in the lives of elementary students by bringing your expertise as a School Psychologist to a dynamic educational environment. This contract opportunity is located in Cheney, WA, with assignments spanning from August 20, 2026, through June 16, 2027. You’ll collaborate with passionate professionals and serve multiple elementary school sites (exact locations to be determined), supporting young learners and their families.

Key Qualifications and Experience

  • Active Washington State ESA School Psychologist Certificate
  • Valid Washington State Driver License (and ability to maintain throughout assignment)
  • School-based assessment experience preferred
  • Solid understanding of special education processes, FBA’s, BIPs, and support plans
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate with teams and manage multiple responsibilities effectively

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct and assess student evaluations as the main focus
  • Develop and implement Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA's), Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs), and student support plans
  • Deliver counseling services as needed for individual students
  • Prepare and communicate thorough, actionable evaluation reports
  • Work closely with the Special Education Team to coordinate and deliver services
  • Manage a caseload of elementary students, with size to be determined
