Take your school psychology expertise to beautiful Spokane, WA, where you’ll make a difference in the lives of students for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity offers a stable and engaging assignment working in either an elementary or high school environment—without rotating between grade levels. You’ll participate fully within a welcoming educational team, supporting student success from assessment through intervention.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification in School Psychology for Washington State
  • Previous experience as a school psychologist or in a related role within a public school is preferred
  • Must pass a fingerprint background check
  • Solid understanding of BIPs, AIPs, FBAs—grounded in ABA and Discrete Trial Training
  • Excellent communication skills for preparing and presenting detailed assessment reports

Position Highlights:

  • On-site assignment at a designated elementary or high school campus (not itinerant, though multiple buildings possible within one campus)
  • 35 working hours per week, from August 26, 2026, through June 17, 2027
  • Conduct approximately 50-60 evaluations annually and serve as the building’s assessment coordinator
  • Prepare comprehensive reports to support the special education team and implement evidence-based behavior interventions
  • In-person work required; virtual work is not available for this assignment
