Qualifications and Skills

• Valid School Psychologist certification or license required
• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
• Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs, 504 plans, and behavior intervention strategies
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Familiarity with current state and federal education regulations
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and prioritize multiple responsibilities
• Previous experience working in a school setting highly preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments
• Provide direct counseling, intervention, and crisis support to students
• Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and external providers
• Develop intervention plans that address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
• Participate actively in Special Education and student support team meetings
• Support compliance with IDEA and Section 504 guidelines
• Offer training and guidance on mental health topics to school staff
