Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity where you’ll make a difference in the educational journey of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC). This position offers an engaging environment working onsite with a dedicated school system, providing vital speech and language services to students in support of their academic success. The assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and will continue through May 21, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours each week.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathology License
  • Current GaPSC Teaching Certificate
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Previous experience in school settings as an SLP preferred
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate with educational staff, students, and families
  • Commitment to ethical, evidence-based practice and student-centered care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students onsite
  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Support the communication needs of students, including articulation, language, fluency, and voice
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development
