Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract assignment as a speech-language pathologist in a vibrant school setting near Savannah, GA. Qualifications and Credentials:
- Hold a current and valid Georgia SLP License
- Possess GaPSC Teaching Certificate
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Strong collaboration, assessment, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to evolving caseload requirements
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
- Address each student’s IEP goals and document progress accurately
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student achievement
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team activities
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions on campus
- Complete paperwork, evaluations, and compliance documentation in a timely manner
- Provide expert recommendations and interventions based on best practices
Key Details:
- Contract role, onsite only
- 37.5 hours per week
- School year calendar, holidays and breaks as scheduled
