School Speech Language Pathologist - Norristown, Pennsylvania

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students in grades 8 and 9 as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC). In this dynamic in-person role, you’ll support young learners at both an 8th Grade and 9th Grade Center, making a positive difference every day. The assignment runs from August 24, 2026, to January 19, 2027, following a 6-day cycle schedule, 7:30am to 2:30pm.

What we’re looking for:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Experience supporting and planning for grades 8 and 9, or a strong interest in adolescent education
• Previous school-based or pediatric SLP experience highly valued
• Confidence conducting both individual and group speech therapy sessions
• Familiarity with IEP case management, especially for Speech Only students
• Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to commit to a full-time, in-person schedule and travel between centers as needed

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging individual and group speech sessions tailored to middle and high schoolers
• Case manage approximately 8–10 Speech Only IEP students, including documentation, progress monitoring, and team meetings
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and other service providers to support students’ success
• Maintain thorough and timely records of therapy, assessments, and communication with caregivers
