Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state SLP license or eligibility for licensure
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY candidates considered
• Experience in pediatric settings, preferably in schools
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs, conduct assessments, and document progress effectively

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individualized and group speech/language therapy sessions for students with a variety of needs
• Evaluate students using both formal and informal assessments to identify communication disorders
• Develop and implement targeted treatment plans in partnership with educators and families
• Participate in the creation and review of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Consult with teachers, support staff, and parents to facilitate generalization of therapy goals
• Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school and state regulations
