Make a meaningful impact by providing high-quality speech-language therapy to elementary students in a supportive school environment. This contract position offers an opportunity to collaborate with fellow educators and support staff in fostering students' communication skills. What You'll Bring:

  • Valid Georgia SLP License or GaPSC Certification (candidates with either are welcome; ultimately, both certifications will be needed)
  • Willingness to consider Speech-Language Assistants with GaPSC certification
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) status
  • Experience or strong interest in providing school-based speech therapy, especially at the elementary level
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities with students, teachers, and families
  • Dedication to crafting individualized intervention plans that foster each student's growth

Your Role Will Include:

  • Delivering onsite speech and language services to elementary-age students
  • Conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, and maintaining comprehensive progress documentation
  • Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated support for students
  • Participating in meetings, providing input for educational planning, and offering expertise for speech-language concerns
  • Adapting therapy approaches to address a range of speech, language, and communication needs
