School LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Edison, New Jersey

Shape students’ well-being in a vital role working closely with one student in a school setting. This full-time contract position offers a consistent schedule Monday through Friday, from 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM, covering the entire academic year from September 4th to June 25th. You'll provide 1:1 care while collaborating with staff to ensure all student health needs are met, making an impact in their educational journey.

Key Qualifications:

• Current NJ School Nursing licensure is required
• Previous experience working in school-based settings
• Comfortable supporting diverse student populations and working within district standards
• Ability to manage a caseload with initiative and care
• Capable of monitoring and supporting the health needs throughout an entire school building
• Reliable transportation is essential and must be comfortable with the daily commute
• Willing and able to complete onboarding requirements: TB test, physical, fingerprinting (agency and district)
• LPN candidates not accepted

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct 1:1 nursing care for a student, ensuring their health and safety throughout the school day
• Respond promptly to medical needs and provide prescribed interventions
• Maintain accurate health records and follow individualized care plans
• Collaborate with educators, families, and district staff to support each student’s well-being
• Monitor and promote health and safety compliance within the school environment
