A full-time school-based LPN is needed to provide 1:1 care, ensuring consistent medical support for a student from the moment they arrive until their departure each day. Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Washington LPN license, or willingness to obtain one before start date
  • Must be able to complete WA OSPI fingerprinting process prior to placement (or be willing to do so)
  • Prior experience as an LPN in pediatric, school, or community settings is highly preferred
  • Exceptional reliability and professionalism—on-time presence is required daily
  • Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills with students, families, and school staff
  • Ability to work independently, problem-solve in real time, and provide respectful, patient-centered care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized healthcare services to a student during school hours, including medication administration, monitoring, personal care, and routine nursing procedures
  • Remain present from student arrival to pick-up, maintaining consistent support and supervision
  • Accurately document care and collaborate regularly with school personnel, families, and care team
  • Uphold student confidentiality and comply with all school and nursing standards
  • Act as an advocate for student safety, wellness, and inclusion within the school environment
