Per Diem School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | West New York, New Jersey

Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey RN or LPN license required
• Previous experience with school-aged children preferred
• Skilled in supporting individuals with cerebral palsy and complex medical needs
• Proficiency in G-tube care essential
• Ability to recognize and respond to seizures
• Experience assisting nonverbal, non-ambulatory students a plus
• Reliable, attentive, and capable of providing consistent 1:1 support throughout the school day

Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalized, compassionate care to a K–12 student during school hours
• Provide G-tube feedings and daily medical support, monitoring and documenting progress
• Remain vigilant for potential seizures and intervene as necessary
• Foster a safe, supportive environment, advocating for student needs in collaboration with educational staff
• Adapt to school schedules, attending per diem shifts as required by the school calendar
