School Speech Language Pathologist - Malden, Massachusetts

Make a real difference in the lives of students by taking on a vital role supporting language and communication development in a diverse academic environment. This contract opportunity offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week for the full 2026-2027 school year. You’ll work with a range of students in grades K-12, assigned based on your clinical experience.

Bring your expertise as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with CCCs to a vibrant, multilingual school community. Bilingual abilities—especially in Spanish or Portuguese—are in high demand, with the majority of students and families communicating in these languages.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Valid state SLP license (or eligibility)
• Bilingual skills in Spanish or Portuguese are highly preferred
• Experience in a school-based setting (K–12) is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit

Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication needs for students across grade levels
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Document progress and maintain thorough, organized records in accordance with school policies and special education regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to help tailor educational supports
