Step into a rewarding contract role as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting a dynamic PreK program for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Located conveniently near Cambridge, MA, this full-time position allows you to work closely with a dedicated team while making a real difference in the lives of 6-8 young learners each day.

As part of the ASD PreK program, you’ll enjoy a consistent schedule, with staff hours running from 7:45 am to 1:30 pm and student hours from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Your expertise in pediatric communication disorders will shine as you use evidence-based approaches to support speech and language development in a nurturing, small-group environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current SLP license for Massachusetts (or eligibility)
  • ASHA CCC-SLP certification, or clinical fellowship (CF) status considered
  • Previous experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations
  • Strong background with Autism Spectrum Disorder preferred
  • Solid knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to PreK students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Conduct thorough speech and language assessments to inform interventions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student progress
  • Maintain detailed documentation, track progress, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Support a positive and inclusive learning environment
