School Psychologist - Troy, Michigan

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• State of Michigan certification as a School Psychologist or eligibility to obtain certification
• Proven experience working with elementary and/or middle school populations
• Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and IEP development
• Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration abilities
• Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI)
• Ability to work effectively across multiple buildings with multidisciplinary teams

Position responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and comprehensive assessments for students
• Support the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct counseling to students and consult with teachers and families
• Collaborate on early intervention, behavior management, and crisis prevention programs
• Participate in problem-solving and data review meetings to support student achievement
• Offer guidance on classroom accommodations, 504 plans, and behavioral plans
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and student-focused school culture
