Step into a vital contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services to a vibrant school population. Starting as soon as possible, you'll support a diverse caseload of approximately 40–50 students—exact numbers may shift based on whether you supervise SLPAs. This assignment is based in a dynamic educational environment that values the expertise and dedication you bring.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders
  • Valid SLP license in California
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Willingness to supervise SLPA staff if needed

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and state requirements
  • Provide SLPA oversight and guidance if applicable to the finalized caseload
  • Engage in case conferences and contribute to team meetings as required
