School Social Worker in New Britain, CT

These roles offer the fulfilling opportunity to conduct critical evaluations and support students in their academic and social success.

Position Details:

• High School Caseload:
  • Start: August 31, 2026
  • End: October 9, 2026
  • 35 hours per week, Monday–Friday
• Elementary Caseload:
  • Start: August 31, 2026
  • End: September 30, 2026 (potential for extension)
  • 35 hours per week, Monday–Friday
• Both positions are strictly onsite and focus mainly on conducting evaluations.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Candidates with current, active CT DPH and CT (071) licenses/certifications (please provide documentation with your inquiry)
• Demonstrated school-based social work experience
• Confidence and professionalism with short-leave assignments
• Ability to manage responsibilities onsite (these are not remote roles)
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and students

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform timely and comprehensive student evaluations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student well-being
• Maintain up-to-date, accurate records and documentation
• Provide guidance and resources to students and families, as needed
