Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Cleveland, Ohio

Step into an impactful contract opportunity providing speech-language therapy services to young learners in a supportive school environment near Cleveland, OH. This temporary role is designed to cover a leave from September 9th through November 30th, offering you flexibility and a meaningful way to support PreK and kindergarten students as they develop essential communication skills.

You’ll work 7:30am–2:20pm, three days per week—choose the days that best fit your schedule, or split them into half-day shifts if that suits your availability. The caseload includes approximately 15 PreK students and 6 kindergarteners in two nearby buildings, making collaboration seamless. You’ll focus on delivering direct therapy, while a team SLP will manage IEPs and evaluations, ensuring you can dedicate your attention to providing high-quality interventions.

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Active Ohio licensure and ODE certification required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Strong background in pediatric speech therapy, preferably in school settings
• Proficiency with individualized and small group interventions
• Adaptable, compassionate, and able to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Primary responsibilities:

• Implement targeted speech-language therapy sessions for PreK and kindergarten students
• Document progress and collaborate with educators and families as needed
• Utilize evidence-based practices to foster language, articulation, and communication development
• Work cooperatively with another SLP sharing the overall caseload
